SUMMARY:The Shark is Broken
DESCRIPTION:April 3\, 4\, 5 & 10\, 11\, 12 2026 \nThe open ocean\, 1974. Filming is delayed…again. The lead actors—theatre veteran Robert Shaw and young Hollywood hotshots Richard Dreyfuss and Roy Scheider—are crammed into a too-small boat\, entirely at the mercy of foul weather and a faulty mechanical co-star. Alcohol flows\, egos collide\, and tempers flare on a chaotic voyage that just might lead to cinematic magic…if it doesn’t sink them all. \nBy Ian Shaw and Joseph Nixon

SUMMARY:Equus
DESCRIPTION:March 18 & 19 2026 \nDr. Martin Dysart\, a psychiatrist\, is confronted with Alan Strang\, a boy who has blinded six horses in a violent fit of passion. Alan’s passion is as foreign to Dysart as the act itself. To the boy’s parents\, it is a hideous mystery; Alan has always adored horses. To Dysart\, it is a psychological puzzle that leads both doctor and patient to a complex and disturbingly dramatic confrontation. \nWritten by Peter Shaffer

SUMMARY:Jesus Christ Superstar
DESCRIPTION:February 13\, 14\, 15 & 20\, 21\, 22 & 27\, 28 March 1\, 2026 \nWhat’s the buzz? The first musical by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber to be produced for the professional stage\, Jesus Christ Superstar has wowed audiences for over 50 years. A timeless work\, the rock opera is set against the backdrop of an extraordinary and universally known series of events but seen\, unusually\, through the eyes of Judas Iscariot. Loosely based on the Gospels of Matthew\, Mark\, Luke and John\, Superstar follows the last week of Jesus Christ’s life. The story\, told entirely through song\, explores the personal relationships and struggles between Jesus\, Judas\, Mary Magdalene\, his disciples\, his followers and the Roman Empire. \nThe iconic 1970s rock score contains such well-known numbers as “Superstar\,” “I Don’t Know How to Love Him” and “Gethsemane.” A true global phenomenon and perfect pick for schools\, community theaters and professionals alike\, Superstar continues to touch new generations of audiences and performers. \nLyrics by Tim Rice \nMusic by Andrew Lloyd Webber

SUMMARY:Puffs
DESCRIPTION:January 16\, 17\, 18 & 23\, 24\, 25 2026 \nThe New York Times proclaims Puffs “A fast-paced romp through the ‘Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic.’ For Potterphiliacs who grew up alongside Potter and are eager to revisit that world\, Puffs exudes a jovial\, winking fondness for all things Harry!” \nThis clever and inventive play “never goes more than a minute without a laugh” (Nerdist) giving you a new look at a familiar adventure from the perspective of three potential heroes just trying to make it through a magic school that proves to be very dangerous for children. Alongside them are the Puffs\, a group of well-meaning\, loyal outsiders with a thing for badgers “who are so lovable and relatable\, you’ll leave the theater wishing they were in the stories all along” (Hollywood Life). Their “hilariously heartfelt!” (Metro) and epic journey takes the classic story to new places and reimagines what a boy wizard hero can be. \nWritten by Matt Cox

SUMMARY:Buried Child
DESCRIPTION:October 22 & 23 2025 \nBuried Child is a play that explores the inner tensions of a rural existence\, father-son relationships\, and the place women hold in an ambiguous domestic atmosphere. The play depicts a Middle-American agricultural family that is less-than prosperous. The family has a dark\, terrible secret: Years ago\, Tilden\, the eldest of three sons belonging to Dodge and Halie\, committed an act of incest with his mother. She bore his child\, a baby boy\, which Dodge drowned and buried in the field behind their farmhouse. The act destroyed the family. The play depicts the fragmentation of the American nuclear family in a context of disappointment and disillusionment with American mythology and the American Dream. \nBy Sam Shepard

SUMMARY:The Great American Trailer Park Musical
DESCRIPTION:September 12\, 13\, 14 & 19\, 20\, 21 2025 \nThe story has\, at its center\, a love triangle between an agoraphobe\, a highway toll collector and an exotic dancer with an unhinged ex-boyfriend. A Greek-chorus-eque trio of trailer park women helps guide the narrative\, playing any character or gender they choose while breaking the fourth wall at whim to air their own dirty laundry. The result is a sense of informality and community – the lifeblood of neighborhoods and IRL connections everywhere. \nRoughly two decades after its New York premiere\, “The Great American Trailer Park Musical” continues to connect with audiences and sold-out crowds. Beyond the broad comedy and pro-wrestling-worthy confrontations\, the show is about rising above our impulses\, our mistakes and our surroundings to make a future we can believe in despite the past. \nBook by Betsy Kelso \nMusic by David Nehls\nLyrics by David Nehls \n

DESCRIPTION:May 14\, 15\, 2025 \nOn the eve of her twenty-fifth birthday\, Catherine\, a troubled young woman\, has spent years caring for her brilliant but unstable father\, a famous mathematician. Now\, following his death\, she must deal with her own volatile emotions; the arrival of her estranged sister\, Claire; and the attentions of Hal\, a former student of her father’s who hopes to find valuable work in the 103 notebooks that her father left behind. Over the long weekend that follows\, a burgeoning romance and the discovery of a mysterious notebook draw Catherine into the most difficult problem of all: How much of her father’s madness—or genius—will she inherit? \nThis poignant drama about love and reconciliation unfolds on the back porch of a house settled in a suburban university town\, that is\, like David Auburn’s writing\, both simple and elegant. \nBy David Auburn

SUMMARY:Something Rotten!
DESCRIPTION:April 4\, 5\, 6 & 11\, 12\, 13\, 2025 \nTwo brothers set out to write the world’s first musical in this hilarious mash-up of sixteenth-century Shakespeare and twenty-first-century Broadway. \nWelcome to the Renaissance and the outrageous\, crowd-pleasing musical farce\, Something Rotten.  Created by Grammy Award-winning songwriter Wayne Kirkpatrick\, and successful screenwriters Karey Kirkpatrick and John O’Farrell\, Something Rotten was lauded by audience members and critics alike\, receiving several Best Musical nominations and hailed by Time Out New York as “the funniest musical comedy in at least 400 years”. \nSet in the 1590s\, brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom are desperate to write a hit play but are stuck in the shadow of that Renaissance rock star known as “The Bard.” When a local soothsayer foretells that the future of theatre involves singing\, dancing and acting at the same time\, Nick and Nigel set out to write the world’s very first musical. But amidst the scandalous excitement of opening night\, the Bottom Brothers realize that reaching the top means being true to thine own self\, and all that jazz. \n  \nBook by Karey Kirkpatrick\, John O’Farrell \nMusic and Lyrics by Karey Kirkpatrick\, Wayne Kirkpatrick
