Main Stage
Lakeland Community Theatre's Main Stage season is entering its 25th season of productions. The Main Stage typically presents a five show season with a variety of genre including drama, comedies and musicals. This season in celebration of a “quarter century of community” we have chosen five award winning musicals. We are committed to bring to our audiences award winning, high quality, affordable entertainment. Our season runs from August through July.
Theatre for Youth Stage
Lakeland Community Theatre's Theatre for Youth is entering its ninth season. We present two outstanding productions per season, engaging a large number of children and youth. Lakeland Community Theatre is committed to education and creating life long learners, bringing the live theatre experience to young people throughout our community in a safe and nurturing environment, both in the capacity of spectator and participant.
The Edge Alternative Stage Read Series
Lakeland Community Theatre presents four cutting edge, award winning and relevant dramatic literary works at The Polk Museum of Art’s Kent Harrison Auditorium. These pieces are selected to expand, educate, engage and challenge our audiences. Also to give actors and directors opportunities to participate in works that would not necessarily be produced otherwise. Each production is followed by a talk back engaging the audience, actors and production staff in a discussion about each particular piece. These productions are specifically for mature audiences
